Excellent description of Savage. In my opinion, being motivated by fear is taking the low road. The high road is taking the risk of standing up for what you know is right no matter if it is unpopular and speaking the truth, no matter who doesn't want to hear it. We do still have the freedom to turn the radio off and no one is compelled to listen to him if they choose not to. Given his ratings, I'd say a lot more Americans are listening than are admitting it.

Until he came along, we really didn't have a voice. And 300 stations, with over 60% of them being in medium to major markets, not bad for an "angry white male".
