There's something more appalling than "conservatives" who applaud prosecutorial misconduct, and that's "conservatives" who applaud prison rape. Every time the subject comes up on FR, these people crawl out from under the nearest rock to say "It's part of the punishment."

Agreed. On all counts. Seems to me if you have a case like this, the cops and prosecutor should be required to take the person's place in prison for the FULL LENGTH of the original sentence! Maybe that would take the "gamesmanship" out of it and we'd actually see JUSTICE in this country!
