Despite the inconvenience, I urge you to continue to hold out, as a matter of principle.

I hate so-called savings time.

ALL "conervatives" should hate it.

Twice a year, our normal daily schedule of sleeping and awakening is disrupted.

I happen to like to observe the natural progression of daylight and night as registered against my timepiece.

I hate that day in October, and that day in April when I am told to "fall back" or "spring forward" Or vice versa.

That day in October? Last Sunday night I was FReeping when my computer suddenly informed me that it was adjusting my clock. For about 30 seconds I wondered how I could possibly have NOT known it was time to change the clocks. And then I remembered that it's only August.

I know that it's irritating to change the clocks but being out of synch with most of North America is more irritating. "Saskatchewan Time" is Mountain Time in the summer and Central Time in the winter, which is bloody confusing to residents and non-residents alike. The ideal would be for North America to drop Daylight Saving Time and just stay on Standard Time year-round. But like I said in the first sentence of the original post, Saskatchewan has failed to convince others that DST is bad.
