Exactly right,it's why I tuned him out over a year ago.He thinks that he can play the "objective" card every now and then and,keep the viewers who would like to believe he is objective while he is slamming conservatives. He is an arrogant POS.

Chris Mathews lost me for good--and I have NOT been back--when after Sept. 11 he kept questioning why President Bush used the phrase "the evil ones". I did hear Mathews later conceded the phrase was apt, but too late, I won't watch him again.
