Well, when I was a girl, there was a guy in my class with the nickname of "Socks". Whenever we'd ask why his name was Socks, he would mutter something about not knowing why. We finally learned that he was guilty of stuffing a pair of rolled up socks in his pants to enhance his appearance. Poor Soul. This would have been so much easier for him.
