Terrific pictures and I wish I could have been there. Proud of all of you for defending the cause and enduring the stifling heat. We had old friends in town who were setting their daughter up at Baylor or I would have come out for a while.

Isn't the Coffee Station with the cardboard cutouts and pictures a hoot? Did you eat there? The food is darned good for cafe food!

Valerie, don't feel bad. I'm the biggest heat wimp in the world and don't know if I'd have been able to handle it today for more than a little while even if I'd been free. If there's another summer Crawford FReep maybe you and I can do something on a consultant basis from the air conditioned Coffee Station.

Yes, it's a hoot. Love all the Bush mementos on their wall and the friendliness of the town folk.

Yes. And you're right...the food is very good. We had hamburgers, fried jalapenos, and an assortment of other items off the menu...and the price was cheap. There's a Western White House gift shop a few doors away that sells unique items.
