When Mona Arthur stepped outside to tend to her plants about a month ago and discovered that a 350-pound rock had rolled down the hill and lodged against the fence behind her house in Kalawahine Valley, she didn't give it a lot of thought.

Good point. I used to live in a part of CO where people built beautiful homes among the giant boulders strewn at the foot of the cliffs. I always wondered if they realized where the boulders came from. And what another one would do to their house.

But it is obviously the developer's fault if you buy a house under a cliff.

LOL! Here in the "alluvial fan" near the mountains in the Coachella Valley of south Kalifornia, we are truly rock ridden......just today (just made this our permanent home, and are wrapping up our landscaping), we actually went out and BOUGHT about 100 zops worth of river rock.......this after paying the "Cinco Amigos" something like 2000 bucks to remove and dispose of bigger rocks.
