A reporter asked: "If you're going to give us advice about journalism, can we give you advice about being press secretary and governing?"
"Bring it, baby," said Mr. Fleischer, who insisted his criticism was at least partially tongue in cheek. LOL .. Gotta Love Ari

Heaven forbid that they report on what is actually happening rather than trying to stir up trouble!Obsessed?? The media obsessed?? Tell me it isn't so!!
Let's see now......I seem to recall one Presidential press conference when the dead horse Harkin was beaten to a pulp......
The sad thing is that these trouble stirrers apparently aren't smart enough to realize what they're doing.
btw, can anybody check to see if the network news even report on the President's speech today, let alone tell the truth about the rip roaring California response to it? If I were a betting woman.......

Well let's see Mr. Fleischer. Perhaps the public thinks a meeting on a future missile defense system isn't relevant when Israel is passing out iodine pills and giving their emergency workers small pox shots. Perhaps Mr. Fleischer the administration's advisors and various big mouths from DoD have been beating the war drums against Iraq and then the administration asks the White House press corp what all the racket is about. Or perhaps Mr. Fleischer the Defense Department's alienation of most of our world allies and the silence of the State Dept. speaks volumes about the discontinuity occurring between Bush and the American public in the last few months. A president can't tell the world that this is the year of war in January and then chop wood and go jogging in August.
