Next thing to look at is vocational education for those who cannot go to college. Those that don't go to college out of high school get some other options. They can attend a trade school, which for fiscal purposes, is treated like a college or university.

This is a BIG one. Most people are never going to be Doctors or engineers. There is nothing wrong with working an automotive assembly line for $25/hour or driving a city bus for $22/hr. These are good jobs with good benifits and allow people to build families with futures.

Exactly. And there's no reason not to treat a program that gets a student his CDL, so he can drive professionally or gets him his apprenticship as a carpenter with the same reserve and allowances as a college education.
