Ordinarily, I'd say no amnesty, but allow for an appeals process. But, the problem is too immense for the court system to handle. Lawyers would tie things up so bad, that the illegals would remain hear permanently waiting appeal hearings and we'd pay for it too.

So, I say no amnesty, no appeals. Let's make room for those who wish to immigrate legally and obey the laws of our land.

No amnesty at all. Don't think we need a moratorium on immigration, but I suspect we would benefit from a reduced level of immigration for several years to give this country a chance to catch up with the recent influx.

Agree with deporting criminals, but I think that for the most part enforcement should consist of enforcing the law against hiring illegals, so as to reduce the demand.

My answer is no, I'm not in favor of Amnesty, and there is no amnesty to millions of illegal aliens either. GW has said that there will be no blanket amnesty for illegals, just a guest worker program. This will benefit illegal immigrants who are already living here and have taken jobs no one else wants at lower wages, mainly because Americans view them as something they wouldn't want to do. Since they are already living and working here, becoming legal immigrants will help them integrate into the mainstream of American life.
