Yes, for a very simple reason. If our history proves one thing it is not that Oppositions so much win elections that Governments lose them. All IDS has to do is stand up and not suddenly come down with Tourette's Syndrome.

In fairness it's mixed. The Telegraph has consistently supported IDS and saying he's doing the right things. And there have been times when the Tories caught Labour in the polls; the last local elections earlier this year saw some good gains for the Tories as well.
IDS need only wait for the Tonester and Labour to self-destruct, which is what historically Labour Governments do.
