Hostettler told the Evansville Courier & Press that the meeting was "a discussion of breast cancer research and other issues. They did not want to talk about certain issues, and I wanted to. … If they don't like what I say, I can't help that."

Hostettler IS grossly insensitive, to bring abortion up to a group of women who overcame breast cancer but did not have abortions.

Pro-lifers never fail to shoot themselves in the feet.

They want Hostettler to "support more federal money for breast cancer research", but they don't want to hear about research concerning breast cancer?

Doesn't compute.

Hogwash, stinky.
What do you expect Hostetler to do?
ASK THEM if they had abortions first?...
before he simply mentions the truthful statistical link between abortion and breast cancer?

Why?! If the abortions are the major cause (about 50%) of breast cancer, why to make a taboo out of it? If those women want the money for the research, why would they want to supress the results of it? If the physicians were so "sensitive" they would never be able to use scalpel or any pain causing procedure. Sometimes a little of painful truth is beneficial.

I am surprised that you Sinkspur desire so much sensitivity.

My friend, if he is going to commit to getting more money for the research, at least he ought to be able to have some say in asking about what is to be researched.

Regards, Ivan
