Pro 2nd Amendment TV IS "Beyond Belief"
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? via Sci Fi Channel ^ | 8/21/02 | moi

We are winning! I just finished watching an episode of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? on Sci Fi. It feature a woman (good person, mom, someone who prays) using a handgun given to her by her husband (caring, sensitive good person) to defend herself from an intruder terrorizing the neighborhood. The gun belonged to the husband's dad, a policeman (indicated to be good person.)

Granted there is a scene in which the mom almost shoots her son, but in the end it is used for a very good purpose, which is portrayed as a good purpose.

I count it as a win.

The link, btw, is just a link to the show in general not this particular episode.

The first company to market a gun that "only shoots the bad guys" will take the market.

Hey, it's FACT. :-)

If you can't trust Jonathon Frakes who can you trust?

One real reason we are winning: after our Rosiecott first destroyed her TV show, then got her dumped as K-Mart spokesman, then drove K-Mart broke, and now has "Rosie" magazine in financial ruins, it will be a very long time before Corporate Amerika disses gunowners or other social conservatives again.

Just as the gay and lesbian boycott that destroyed the Dr. Laura TV show and ruined the profitability of her radio show made anything controversial politically radioactive to Corporate Amerika from one side, the Rosie experience has from the other.

Advertising just isn't sellable anymore if it is tied to controversial programming - and thus risking just being an expensive way to buy a boycott.

Scandals of antigun politicians - from coast to coast!

And don't forget the spectacular showing the anti-gun Constitution-haters made in the last election.

Rush said something today about some person claiming Doctor Laura (himself, Howard Stern & somebody else ) all make more than the network news anchors combined. So I guess she's doing OK.

I just got my latest issue of "The American Rifleman" in the mail (That's an NRA magazine for those that don't know). This is the first issue in about 9 years that didn't have an article related to some pending anti-gun legislation. All of the articles in this month's issue are related to sport shooting, and the usual feature stories on particular guns.

The only real danger at present is that gunowners will become complacent, and the antis will sneak something in.

Worth repeating and you are right about complacency.
