Not because of the evidence but i cannot see 12 people agreeing on a not guilty verdict. My bet its guilty.

I'm may have missed something--the only thing that you would need an agreement of the 12 would be a "Guilty" verdict, right?

Yes, you are missing something. In this case it had to be 12 for guilty or not guilty otherwise the jury is 'hung' which means either the prosecution can try to work out a deal, drop the charges or retry him.
