I thought the defense filed a motion to the state to bring to trial quickly, just like OJ?
It usually takes a long time for a death penalty case to get to trial because of the enormous amount of discovery involved.
OJ had the Dream Team.
Perhaps that will be the reason for the appeal, even though there's always an appeal in these types of cases.
