Lovely. Gives you a warm fuzzy feeling about your fellow man, I'm sure ;)

So this was a 1'st degree murder conviction? Was this in a state where you then had to consider capital punishment? Even if it wasn't, would being on the jury have given you enough information to feel comfortable in sending this guy to meet his maker?

His wife refused to cooperate if the death penalty was involved. I have no idea what he got.
