No, that was just recoginition of how quickly these threads sink to petty spite. It's a very emotional issue, and it doesn't seem like it can ever be discussed rationally without one party or the other getting personal.

Perhaps rabid was an unfortunate choice of words on my part. If that's what lowered the debate, my apologies.
