Racicot performed brilliantly during the attempted hijacking of the Florida election by Gore; he was powerful, articulate and effective. But, I must agree: he appears to have gone into hiding. A major disappointment in that office.

He needs to be replaced ASAP. If Racicot really wanted to help the GOP, he should've taken Max Baucus out of the Senate this year.

But, I must agree: he appears to have gone into hiding. A major disappointment in that office. When a party holds the presidency, the president does the talking for the party. When it doesn't, the head of the national committee does the talking for the party. Barbour talked for Republicans when Clinton was president. McAuliffe talks for Democrats when Bush is president.
To get your wish for Racicot to be all over TV, you are going to have to elect Al Gore in 2004.
