Man, the University of Florida was ranked second on the list a couple of years ago...I better go get some beer.

How could Southern Illinois University not make this survey? To all reports, it's the best party school not on a seacoast.

By the way, those criticizing this survey are full of it. The kids know where the party schools are. It's the parents that need this information supplied this way, so they know where not to send their kids.

This makes up completely for losing in the finals to Maryland in basketball....

The University of Tennessee Knoxville was number one last year. What happened? Did the campus clamp down because of the positive or negative publicity?

Yes, as an IU grad, I'm sorry I couldn't be there to win this distinguished award.

Following IU in the rankings were Clemson University, the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa, Pennsylvania State University and the University of Florida.Hmmmm... Penn State has slipped to #4... how embarassing.
But then, the football team had a couple off-years for rebuilding...
Oughta be higher in the rankings this coming year.

"I think there are some serious questions about the methodology of the study and it really calls into question the credibility of the ranking," Stephan said.
I never thought I would hear those two words in reference to a ranking of top party schools.

I never thought I would hear those two words in reference to a ranking of top party schools. I am sure scientific sampling techniques were used in this evaluation, especially considering the seriousness of the results.

What has happened to the University of Georgia?
To: ilgipper
Darn! They never had this survey when I was in school.
Personally, IU today pales in comparison to the REAL party times of the mid to late 60's!!

"Best 5.9 years of college". All that beer and carousing hasn't hurt them in the web development department. Good site.

I will not, and could not, comment on how wrong or right this study is.
But I spent 4 years at IU in the late 70's, and my kids will NOT be going there. Even for a free ride.
By the way, is it my imagination, or is the new Football coach at IU a really well kept secret? Does'nt sound like alot of confidence building in the Alumni Club. Oh well, at least the tickets will be cheap.
