BERLIN (AP) — About 2,500 neo-Nazis attended a rally Saturday in memory of Adolf Hitler's deputy Rudolf Hess in the southern German town where he is buried, police said.

The rally in the Bavarian town of Wunsiedel passed without violence, police said, despite the presence of about 500 counter-demonstrators. A total of 34 people were detained for weapons offenses and displaying symbols banned in Germany, such as the Nazi swastika.

Police said they had 1,000 officers on duty to keep the two sides apart.

The far-right gathering took place after a state court overturned a ban by local authorities — the second year in a row that judges have ruled that the march could go ahead.

Hess, who committed suicide in Berlin's Spandau prison 15 years ago, is a martyr to the extreme-right.

Do a search on nazi, and you will find more recent stuff about how Arafats 'uncle' went to nazi Germany to meet his idol Hitler. Arafat's 'uncle', the grand mufti of Jerusalem, wanted Hitlers Endlosung to be unleashed over his area.

The protest in the Netherlands makes clear they see the Jews as a common enemy.

I also heard there was an Arabic part on a neo-nazi forum. I thought I was Polinco, but I cannot find it. The Dutch version of Polinco also has got a lot of muslim posters.

Cach, you have an excellent point. It seems like every few months or so, the anti-Semite contingent mounts another attack on FR. It makes sense, with FR being one of the most well-known and influential conservative websites on the 'net, that the neo-Nazis and Islamist sympathizers would try to co-opt it. I've seen your proof of this, and it's pretty compelling.

Too bad for the professional scapegoaters, most REAL conservatives are not anti-Semetic. It must drive them nuts. Larry's absolute hysteria and posting history, together with his bosom buddy RCW2001, is just hilarious to watch.

Polinco.net is the Dutch version. I see they are angy at the Stormfront (the Dutch/Belgium part) forum because the want to see Polinco closed because it is too PC!

There a SF-guy named 'Der Adler' was kicked off Polinco because he insults immigrants and therefor he is accused of being a Jew by the moderators! I doubt it because at the SF he claims in a quote under all his posts that 'every Jew has got to die'.

There has been some funny bickering going on between stormfront and Polinco. The Polincoids generally seem to think that the Stormfronters are blockheads only usable as cannon-fodder and that they are the "Elite Thinkers". The Stormfronters seem to think Polinco is a little, uppity, p*ss-ant forum filled with whiners. And not so long ago, Billy Roper got involved in a flamewar with one of the Polincoids because the guy didn't show to a National Alliance meeting or something. The no-show was evidently worth a "bullet in the back of the head", in Roper's view.

It is definitely worth investigating. Before all this brouhaha started - in fact, a bit before the jew-baiters seemed to really get to swarm on Freerepublic and elsewhere - the FBI had concerns that Islamic Jihad were funneling money to Islamic and Nazi groups in order to build net-presence.
