Lawyer: Kevorkian transferred to prison closer to home

A lawyer for Jack Kevorkian says the 74-year-old has been transferred to a prison closer to his home and his friends.

Mayer Morganroth said Kevorkian, who is serving the fourth year of a sentence for his second-degree murder conviction, was moved to the Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer on Friday morning.

I know that there are many here who have sympathy for Kevorkian. If you do, I would suggest that you surf about and find posted images of his "artistic" renderings, in other words, paintings.

No, I don't have links, but I've seen the paintings, and they were what convinced me that this man has no business mercy killing anyone.

He is where he belongs and the Supreme Court should leave him there.....
