Black Demonstrators Demand Slavery Reparations

Barron, a self-proclaimed "elected revolutionary," said if the government did not act swiftly he personally would storm the Treasury Department ( news - web sites) and take the money for reparations.

Black activist Louis Farrakhan told the crowd, "America owes the black people a lot for what they've endured."

"We need land for political independence, we need millions of acres," Farrakhan added. "We need payment for 310 years of slavery, of destruction of our minds and the robbery of our culture." {/B>

The United States, torn apart by the Civil War, abolished slavery in 1865. Some people argue that even 137 years after abolition, blacks still suffer from the vestiges of slavery.

U.S. Rep. John Conyers, a Democrat from Michigan, urged blacks to press their elected representatives in Congress to deal with the issue of slavery reparations.

"We want reparations -- not next century, not 10 years from now, but now," Conyers said. "These wrongs can only be corrected in the House of Representatives, only Congress can do what we want now. All congressmen ought to be here today."

Hey, that policy has worked for 138 years, why change now?

...so it would be an easy matter to seize control of cities.

According to relatively recent scare, er, informational advertising pushing stocks of survival rations, the
typical grocery store's inventory is turned over every three days.

Now that presents a problem for them, not to mention electricity, which means water, sewage, medicine,
refrigeration, and other infrastructure problems.

After listening to the grammar, logic, and reasoning of a few of the ranters, I mean speakers, I very much doubt
that they could pull off anything for more than a week before nature and reality exert themselves.

At last, a use for the Patriot Act and the Department of Homeland Security!!

Of course, it would be so un-PC to go after some seriously demented hate-monger who happens to be a member of a minority.

Why did they leave out his incendiary and outright racist comments "theyre lucky were just talking about reparations, we should go get em"

and "i might just walk up to the nearest white man and slap em, say this is a black thing you dont understand"

Change the colors in those sentences, substitute "black" for "white" and vice versa, and tell me what would happen to someone who stood in front of a crowd in DC yelling that over a microphone.

The more the Radical Leftists push ridiculous issues like this upon the American taxpayer/voter, the more the AverageJoe will realize that the RAT Party is against everything that made this Country the greatest in the history of the World, and the DemonRAT Party will become further marginalized. Farrakhan, JessieJ, AlSharpton and their ilk are all RacistPimps whose careers and financial well-being depend on the Racial Strife that pie-in-the-sky Socialist legislation like this produces. but the people they claim to represent are ill-served by their continued self-marginalization from the mainstream of American Culture!!

Love to see him try it.
Make my day.

To be honest, I think we could shoot the SOB under the old "Storming The Treasury" Act.

If some white guy talked this way, he would be laughed at.

If some white guy talked this way he would be imprisoned.

From the little news clip I saw, it looked like a very few hundred. Only a few thugs think "reps" are do-able.

Depending on his exact wording, I believe this is a violation of several federal laws, including making a terroristic threat.

You ain't lyin. It was/is a threat. I wanna be there ta see this slave crap go thru. Hehehee. There sets Egypt owin' Israel for YEARS of slavery, etc. We won't talk about what Germany owes the Jews. Then there's Sudan, modern day slave masters, list is endless. I think most folks realize the day of "my name is jimmy, gimme gimme," is over. Could be some lawyers ain't got it yet, but they'd be about all, imo.

Loved the last paragraph

Kobina Abew, an American citizen from Ghana dressed in a colorful African gown, said, "It's going to be very effective. It's going to bring a solution to this problem, I believe."

Was this "American citizen from Ghana" merely an interested bystander or did he believe he stood to collect?

Even thought its a little strethchy to see how this guy qualifies, I need to see details on the plan before I agree. If a majority of the funds are for transporting reparationee's back to their home country (or anyplace on the planet, or in outer space, that'll take 'em) - I'm all for it!

At a time when more than ever this country needs to embrace genuine color-blindness, whores like Farrakhan and his ilk are trying their damndest to make sure we have the exact opposite.

For all who believe they deserve reparations, how about a free one-way ticket to any country on Earth that will take take them as immigrants. The only catch is in order to take this offer, one must renounce one's US citizenship. I bet few would take that offer.

"'We need land for political independence, we need millions of acres,' Farrakhan added. 'We need payment for 310 years of slavery, of destruction of our minds'"

No reasonable person could take issue with that last part of his statement.

That is what I envisioned, too, for a moment, including,

plenty of white leftists to join a mass black rising and help move it along with their goals.

--- if not in an even more extreme form: that struggle may be started by and proceed almost entirely between whites --- like the last one.

"I didn't believe my own ears on that one!"

My opinion about that is by all means, go ahead. Let them show themselves to be the ruthless, evil *ssh*les that they are. Then maybe more decent blacks will disassociate themselves from these militant morons and politicians will have an excuse to quit pandering to them and deal with them in the punitive way that they so richly deserve.
