I just wrote a letter to WNEW-FM telling them that it is time for Opie and Anthony to take a long hiatus from the radio.

That is precisely the WRONG thing to do.

Continued outrage over this incident is what these stations want. They'll take RATINGS wherever they can get them.

There's a movie being released in Mexico this weekend showing a priest having sex with a woman. The Catholic Church has demanded that THE GOVERNMENT shut the movie down. All this has done is guarantee a huge box office for the weekend.

So the movie is obviously fiction then? BA-BOOM! :)

Just kidding, folks. It's just a joke.

I disagree.

It is time to hit, and hit hard.

They will have that smile wiped off their face when the station is fined or the two knuckleheads are fired and/or somebody has criminal charges filed against them. Money talks. Bs walks. Hit 'em in the pocketbook.

Works every time.

I already sent the letter so not much I can do about that.

I did take the suggestion of one of the other chatters and sent a letter to FCC Cairman Powell at mpowell@fcc.gov

So the Church should remain silent? That would be a sin of ommission. Let the dogs return to their vomit.
