Humor? You think insulting other people's religion is "humorous"? Okay, tell me what YOUR religious belief is and I'll make up a small-minded, mean joke about it and see if YOU laugh. Grow up!

I assume the locals belive that their deity would have handled the blasphemers in an appropriate fashion.

I guess He did didn't He? I suppose "their Dieity" didn't want that done in His church.

Two things come to mind.

One, it might be a rumor, but I understand something called the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. controls what goes out over the public United States airwaves, owned by the taxpayers, and has content oversight. I heard this is an enforcing government agency. I heard that it may even be part of a Republican Administration. They can/should be contacted immediately by public letters of complaint and the broadcasting license of the guilty station should be suspended, or the stationed fined which will put pressure on them to fire the hosts. Money talks.

Two, I heard there is such crimes, punishable by fine or imprisonment, called prostitution and public pandering. I heard it is illegal to offer cash to an individual to perform sex. Particularly to perform sex in a public space. Whomever was the party to offer the money and supply the money, can and should be arrested on municipal NYPD charges for pandering and illiciting sex for pay, both misdemeanors.

Just some proactive thoughts to consider.

Pulling the license? No.

A mandated 90-day vacation for those two and the "comedian" who was doing the play-by-play, OTOH, combined with a fine in the mid-six digits, would be my call.

If St. Patricks was named as one of those 54 sites is this an anti-Catholic hate crime? I would like to see that list.

If the liberal elites hate the victim, it isn't a hate crime.

Now had this happened at a Unitarian church or St. John the Divine Cathedral, the liberal elites would have been screaming bloody blue murder.

What would be a just and fitting criminal penalty for these three mental midgets?

Do you hold anything as sacred? You children? Your wife? Your mother?

Would you mind if someone was paid to fornicate in public 20 feet from them as a live on-air "stunt"?

...it would have been better if the two lovers ... These degenerates were not making love. They were having sex. Think about it.

Okay, according to your argument, we should let all murderers go free because God will punish them? You give bikers a BAD name.

It would have been bad enough had those two fools been New Yorkers--but they're from Virginia! How the cancer of sexual liberation and disrespect for religion has spread.

This episode is evidence of a civilization in its decline.

FWIW, "Fear" in the sense of "God-fearing" means possessing a reverential awe of the Almighty.

From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
Main Entry: 1fear
Pronunciation: 'fir
Date: before 12th century
transitive senses
1 archaic : FRIGHTEN
2 archaic : to feel fear in (oneself)
3 : to have a reverential awe of (fear God)
4 : to be afraid of : expect with alarm
intransitive senses : to be afraid or apprehensive
- fear·er noun

Oh, NOW I see who you are. A Catholic basher! Why didn't you say so in the first place? No wonder you thought the show was funny.

Shalom!

Hi...Thinkin'Gal and everyone,

I agree with You, TG!

Too bad this is not Ancient Biblical Times, these PAGAN IDOLATERS would have been taken outside the City gate and... STONED TO DEATH IMMEDIATELY.

READ ALL ABOUT IT: Leviticus chapter 18 and Deuteronomy chapter 18 as well!

This is the World and its Evil Practices...and it is going to get Worse, NOT better!
