The Ryder truck at Johnny's Tire SHop seen by Mike Moroz and his partner was there about 8:35-8:40am.

The Ryder truck on the surveillance tape was about a 20 footer without an overhang across the street (SOuth side) from the Regency TOwers apartments from 8;45 to about 8:55am. From 8:35-8:40 am a second shorter Ryder truck with an overhang was seen in front of the Regency towers (north side of the street ) by Danny Wilkinson who ran a snack shop and sold McVeigh sodas. Wilkinson said he saw a John Doe in the Ryder truck.

WIlkinson said when McVeigh left he went around the block and came back later at around 8:45 am with a Ryder truck that was seen on the surveillance tape (longer, no overhang?)on the other side of the street (south side ) from the Regency TOwers.

The Ryder truck seen with Nichols in Newkirk,OK on APril 18, 1995 with a ME male was a shorter truck with an overhang.

There are about three other Ryder truck sightings in OKC near the Murrah building between 8:30 and 9 am. Each with good witnesses. Several experts on this believe there were two Ryder trucks involved in the operation including Craig Roberts formerly with TUlsa PD who knows OKC PD officer Don Browning.

I have written about the Ryder truck sighting in the ally last year and this year on FR in my replies- you may have missed it. Williamm Jasper of the NEw AMerican and I have known of this witness since 1995. A friend of Jasper knows the witness. The witness is an attorney. I made a typo in my reply and should have typed instead "I also know [of] a witness who saw US Marshalls detain a Ryder truck in the ally at 8:30 am on April 19, 1995. I know the story of the witness but I do not know the identity of the witness. I am confident in what Japser told me about the witness.

Nichols has a state trial to face this year or next. I do not know if the Kuper witness testimony would help Nichols get a new Fed trial or help him avoid the dealth penalty in the state trial. I guess it might depend on what his attorneys might try to do.

Showing that McVeigh had help in OKC from others in addition to Nichols would not exonerate Nichols for his role in Kansas and especially since Nichols was seen with a ME John DOe (Hussaini?) in Newkirk in OK on APril 18, 1995 with a Ryder truck.

how does this square with testimony of mcveigh pulling into an OKC business (tire store???) to ask directions on how to get to Murrah just before 9 am?
Why would he need to ask directions from anyone since the building had already been cased? He already knew where it was from casing it previously!
Simply "showing his face" IMO!

iirc, mcveigh testified he spent the night of april 18th in Newkirk, OK. I believe he stated that he left Newkirk some time after 7 am on the morning of the 19th for OKC.

sorry I can't pin down the exact reference to these admissions, but I've always had problems squaring the time frame of the drive down I-35, through rush hour traffic backing up in edmond, and arriving at murrah in time to be seen asking directions between 8:30 and 9:00 am. I don't think it's pysically possible, especially in an operatioin that requires precision timing.

iow, another truck already in the city had to be involved.

p.s. I've got similar problems with the "get away" time frame which has mcveigh running several blocks on foot from murrah hopping into the yellow merc, fighting OKC traffic, and arriving in perry at the time he was arrested.

Thanks for the flag-there's some info here that I'd missed.

FWIW, I tend to go with the multiple truck theory. At the very least, there may have been 2 trucks, one that the government knew about (the one checked by the marshalls in the alley), and the one that was detonated.

Remember the discussions way back of the possible fed look-alike? I still suspect that McVeigh was working for the government, either defense or CIA--and that he expected the sightings of the look-alike to be his alibi if anything went wrong. The feds gave him and Nichols up because they had to prosecute somebody, and McVeigh and Nichols were the most expendable.

I don't have that written in stone--It's just the way I see it at this point.

More likely the "bombers" compromised the "sting" and used a decoy thus successfully delivering the bomb to target.At that point it became CYA.

Whatever happened to Josie Hadas? The Israeli agent who rented the apartment where bomb equipment was found and whose telephone number was on the van rental which transported the WTC('93) bomb. Guess she was working with the FBI.

The truth of the OK City bombing, as with what happened at Waco, is denied only by those who know the truth, or those willfully blind to it.

None of us here pretend to know EXACTLY what happened, just that the line we've been fed is BS.

The strange case of Zacarias Moussaoui: FBI refused to investigate man charged in September 11 attacks

FBI agents tracked Moussaoui’s movements to the Airman Flight School in Norman, Oklahoma, where he logged 57 hours of flight time earlier in 2001 but was never allowed to fly on his own because of his poor skills.

This alone should have set off alarm bells, since a confessed Al Qaeda operative, Abdul Hakim Murad, had trained at the same school, as part of preparations for a suicide hijack attack on CIA headquarters.

Murad testified about these plans in the 1996 trial of Ramzi Ahmed Yusef, the principal organizer of the 1993 World Trade Center car-bombing.

Pat,is this accurate information? Did Murad testify in court that he trained for a suicide hijacking at the same flight school attended by Moussaoui?

FBI Knew Terrorists Were Using Flight Schools

The flight schools, Coastal Aviation of New Bern, N.C., and Richmor Aviation of Schenectady, N.Y., were two of four that provided flight training to Abdul Hakim Murad in the early 1990s, according to Philippine authorities. Murad was arrested in Manila in 1995 and later convicted in New York of plotting to blow up a dozen U.S. airliners over the Pacific, then crash a suicide plane into CIA headquarters.

• In 1998, FBI agents questioned officials from Airman Flight School in Norman, Okla., about a graduate later identified in court testimony as a pilot for bin Laden, according to Dale Davis, the school's director of operations.

• This year, the trial of bin Laden associates for the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania yielded documents containing several references to flight schools and bin Laden pilots

For me the obvious question here is, what were the other two schools attended my Murad? If one was the same school attended by Moussaoui, I think that would be important to understanding the story. If Moussaoui and Murad did attend the same school, the Washington Post's failure to mention it in the story would be interesting as well.
