Link isn't working, but don't be surprised to see every single city in Canada list French as the second language. This is basically a given, seeing as it is an official language. I would be more than shocked to find any kind of official statistics that said that French was a close second to English when it comes to primary language spoken in day-to-day life. Now, if it is language spoken, technically french SHOULD be close to English. Why? Because every single schoolchild in Ontario is required to learn some french. This has no bearing on the backgrounds of these individuals however, as knowing a second language hardly implies having that culture as your background or believing ANY of its beliefs.
The fact remains that as few as 2% of Ontarians are of French (French-Canadian) descent.
"Or did you also forget the little "Lighting of the shoe" incident by an Iranian teenager"
Maybe I am missing something, but were there explosives found in his shoe, or was he hoping that the rubber would spontaneous explode? How can someone lighting a non-burning rubber sole be considered terrorism rather stupidity? Even the kids Dad said as much, basically calling his son an idiot for playing around with the lighter.

How can someone lighting a non-burning rubber sole be considered terrorism rather stupidity? You see a stupid teenager, I see a terrorist (the father), using his son to test the response of the people on board. I.E. are there Air Marshalls on board, is it possible to do something like this and have enough time to "do the deed". Passing little things like this off to stupidity is going to get us all killed.
