Violence can solve quite a few problems. It is always a solution that can be applied to a tyrannical government as well. The difference between patriot and what you call a nut job is often only a matter of degree.
Are the founding fathers nut jobs, the Union Army ? The veterans of the World Wars ?
Every single one of them had a philosophy that demanded violence at times rather than submission to tyranny.
That is a ridiculous statement.
Get real. The Founders, the Union Army, the WW vets all were at war with another army. This cop had no damned idea that this nutjob was at war with him. Damn.
You mean that Matthews wouldn't have shot Taylor had been been stopped for going 11 miles over the limit? Or 10? How about 9? I'm just trying to find the degree with which one does not shoot a police officer and the degree with which one can be allowed to shoot a police officer.
Actually your post is right - (and I can't wait to see how you're blasted for it....) except this one part above.
It's a matter of who initates force first.
Theft, confiscation, breaking of existing social and legal contracts would be considered force...... One could argue that the Declaration is moral precedent. And when the terms of the Delcaration or original Constitutional compact are broken then...
The statement you made plays into the hands of the statist enemies here, because it has no philosophical backing. It's the playground that Jihadis love.... they can twist facts into lies to betray their audience.
