I think you owe OneidaM an apoligy. I believe she was referring to Emma Sharlp as disgusting and vile.

You think smoking a joint is worse than killing a police officer? Get help!
Both offenders should be shown NO mercy.

Eric got caught in the middle between hershey and matthews. After mathews drove off from the first stop, he left not in a speeding way, infuriating hershey, and matthews stopped for hershey the second time, hershey now realy mad, matthews speeds off to speeds of 100 mph. so it wasn't the initial stop,it was the subsequant stop that something happened.Something like"Place your hands on the wheel and don't make any sudden moves,as he holds his side arm in the direction of Matthews"So now, maybe mathhews is scared for his life and feels he has nothing to lose. No,you won't find this commentary in any paper, even if it did happen that way.WE realy don't know do we since the camera wasn't working in hershey's car that night.

The constitution is not wacky. But this guy's interpretation of the constitution certainly was. According to the guy that shot the police officer, it was unconstitutional to stop a guy doing 12 mph over the limit. Do you find that to be a true reading of the constitution? He also believed that he had the constitutional right to murder a police officer over that "unconstitutional" traffic stop. Disgusting.

Which is the point of your obvious disruption. You're going to have a hard time dividing and conquering on this one. You've overplayed you hand. Back to disruption school with you.

"Both offenders should be shown NO mercy."
Should Jeb's daughter be shown no mercy?
To: southern rock
I'd have to say yes, it is wrong to stop a driver for simply driving, and not harming anyone.
Of course you say so, and of course Mr. Matthews held the same wacky ideology as you do. The only question you have to honestly answer now is:
Does being stopped for speeding by the police constitute a valid, lawful, or Constitutional reason to murder a police officer?
(Oops! I meant to say: 'Does being stopped for speeding by the police constitute a valid, lawful, or Constitutional reason to secure one's liberty')?

.
Who are the Stalinists here? Invoking dead peoples names? Try Matthews. Who are the low life Matthewsists here who do not value life?
To: alnick
Let us not forget that it wasn't eric taylor that made the stop,he was only responding to hershey's call,he had no idea what he was getting into.

Same question in #73 for you three, if you please.

This was not a Constitutionalist - quit dignifying him by using the term. He was a Quixotic sociopathSo we dont say what others say and yet we plaster it all over
Sorry, I don't buy that. Sunshine is the only way to go!
And yet we say what the others say but omit what was originally said HMMMMMM sounds like telling the truth to cover up a lie!
To: southern rock
Since I personally don't believe that it is constitutional to require licences for driving...Flat out wrong. It's quite constitutional for a state to require a license to operate a motor vehicle.
It's "constitutionalists" like Matthews who always know the least about The Constitution.
To: eastforker
It was not Hershey's fault. It was Matthews' fault. You are trying very hard -- too hard -- to defend this Matthews character.
Matthews was not defending his life. He was not defending the constitution. He was nothing more than a homicidal sicko who robbed Mrs. Taylor and her one- and two-year-old children of a husband and father.
