GPS devices that fight crime Tracking your kids
and the ex-con next door
An 8-year-old girl shows off a new GPS watch, one
of many new devices that aim to give worried
parents some peace of mind.

Aug. 8 With all these lunatics kidnapping kids, heres an idea: Lets install a GPS device in every newborn human, dog and kitten. That way, when some creep comes along, or when fireworks scare off the family pet, well be in a Minority Report pre-crime busting future where we wont have a minute of worry.
PORTABLE TRACKING DEVICES are quite possibly the next big frenzied, change-the-world-kind-of-thing, although for all you literalists in the audience, implanting a global positioning system in an actual living being isnt quite possible yet.
Perhaps soon...... Continued HERE:http://www.msnbc.com/news/791811.asp?0bl=-0

I don't know if you know it but we have been "conditioned" to accept this chip implant buy the media running round the clock coverage of missing children.
This puts fear in the US citizenry to the point where everyone will be begging for it.
After all we all need to give the economy a "shot in the arm" by helping out the electronics industry.
It is my understanding that the implanted chips, such as those used on dogs, are passive devices. They do not send a GPS or any other kind of signal unless excited by a scanner at close range. So much for that idea.
Put scanners at the entrances to airports, stores (in the already present shoplifting scanners), schools, e-z pass toll booths, etc....
With the inevitible increase in sophistication inherent in all electronics, it may eventually be feasible to put scanners in cell phone towers, facilitating a nationwide grid of coverage.
I recall several years ago seeing a story (I think on 60 minutes) about an experimental type of breast implant in the wake of all of the lawsuits filed for every imaginable desease being blamed on silicone leakage. The bizarre part, was that each of these experimental implants had a chip which could be tracked anywhere in the world to within 3 feet according to the story. Does anyone know anything about this? I have heard from other sources that such technology exists in a rice grain sized implantable chip, but that was the first story I heard on the topic (mid to late 90's) which was not from a "conspiracy theory" slant.
Leave it to some Info-Babe to present the benign solutions, "With all these lunatics kidnapping kids, heres an idea: Lets install a GPS device in every newborn human.."
And you know, if you ask you friends and neighbors, you'll probably find many think it's a good idea.
What has the government done in the last 30 years toward this end? Here are just a few. Please feel free to add a few of your own:
1) Opened our borders to hoards of invaders who refuse assimilate as citizens or recognize the laws of our land, displaced low wage earners from the labor market and demand special services on the back of the taxpayers. - Diversity is a beautiful thing. Isnt it?
2) Failed to truly punish the truly guilty. - Its not his fault that he killed all those people. Society failed him. Its all of our faults.
3) Denied the right of personal protection to the individual. Oh, that Second amendment thing was just for frontiersmen. We have 911 now.
4) Imposed unprecedented taxation. "Yes, it's true that you no longer have any money to do what you want. But, don't worry Government will do it for you."
5) Failed to execute kidnappers to deter those who are contemplating it. - "With all these lunatics kidnapping kids, heres an idea: Lets install a GPS device in every newborn human.."
George Orwell must be tossing and turning in his grave.
They are diabolial, but you have to hand it to them, they are clever, and ruthlessly effecient.
Be not afraid, we are here to help you.
I used to be pretty good at tracking breasts myself, but that was back before I got married. I still try to stay in practice, but it's difficult when I get "whack on the side of the head" aversive conditioning every time I slew my head around to track a pair...
Kids are kidnapped every day! If this tracking system could save just ONE LIFE, wouldn't it be worth giving up a little privacy? Besides, if you're doing nothing wrong, why would you NOT want your child to be tracked? If you refuse to sheeple-tag your kid, you could be subject to closer scrutiny by the authorities - and you should be, because it's all FOR THE CHILDREN!
Polls show that the majority of Americans like this idea, and we live in a democracy, so we need to pass laws to make this mandatory for all children.
