But look at the title! The way I understand it, Bush asked for about 1 billion, and Congress passed 5 billion, with 4 billion of it being unrelated spending and/or pure pork. Including money for the study of worms, for Pete's sake. They told Bush he could take all or none of it. Bush said, basically, screw you. Where are the media in making an issue out of pork barrel spending during a time of war? Where do they get off suggesting Bush is withholding money for terror spending? Haven't these antbrains in the media even looked at the bill? Grrrrrr.....
