I was right with him until I spotted that he/his followers were part of the chorus against the Bradley. If that is considered an exemplary sample of his work, he may have lost sight of what is "right" and became overly fond just being different.
But this piece is very timely, in light of the Stryker pieces coming out of Millenium Challenge 2002 (MC02). MC02 will be used to declare Transformation a rousing success, the way to the future, etc etc etc. In fact, it is nothing less than a dismantling of the Army as we know it. The Stryker's MO is too avoid contact. When contact appears imminent, it will deploy its infantry to hold off the enemy or be forced to flee. It's the only way it can survive.
The comment about driving a tank through analysis was interesting. Total transformation involves removing every tank from the inventory, in favor of the Stryker and later the FCS. It is nothing less than a recipe for disaster.
