The fact is that Mathews told his wife that he was going to shoot a police officer. The fact is that Mathews fired a CZ52 7.62 pistol and shot Officer Taylor in the butt and the bullet traveled to his aorta, killing him. Those are the undesputed facts. Any other theories, conspiracies, tall tales, rumors, EXCUSES that you can dream up won't ever change those facts.
You will see that the fastest way to do so, is to basically crawl across the seat and out the door onto the ground. You will also note that one cannot stand up inside a standard police vehicle.
So, when Matthews got the drop on Taylor and Taylor was forced to exit his vehicle through the passenger door Matthews fired while Taylor's back was turned towards him. The round struck Taylor in the buttocks and traveled up through his body, cutting the aorta and killing him.
That's called premeditated murder.
There's no conspiracy and there's no doubt Matthews fired the round that killed Taylor.
You really need to take of the ideology-colored glasses, take a look at the facts and smell the coffee.
The facts in this story don't fit the story the investigators are giving us.To: exodus
With the facts we've been given, I see no way to explain how officer Taylor got shot in the butt.

I dispute your assumed fact. There is no way that Matthews could have gotten behind officer Taylor.
If Matthews was going to kill a policeman, why didn't he kill State trooper Joseph Hershey, the officer who first stopped him? Why didn't he kill trooper Joseph Hershey the second time he was stopped?
Why did Matthews wait until he was being chased by five police cars before he decided to kill someone?
