This week on www.StopDemocrats.com **The News** Main Story:

*Bush Most Successful Campaign Fundraiser: President Bush has gotten a faster start at raising funds for his party's candidates than any of his predecessors and has topped the $100 million mark, by far the highest amount for any president after 19 months in office.

In Other News:

*A kangaroo court at Washington D.C.'s American University (AU) punished an undergraduate student journalist known as a frequent critic of the university's policies and spending for the specious offense of videotaping a public speech by Tipper Gore.

*Cry-Babies: Al Gore deserves the chance to run again for the White House after his disputed loss to George W. Bush in 2000, the Democratic Party chairman said. ``He was robbed, and that's a fact,'' Terry McAuliffe said.

*Federal investigators have questioned scores of Martha Stewart's friends and employees to see if she has broken the law, sources say. Probers are drawing a circle around Stewart, tracking down anyone close to her who may be involved in her Dec. 27 sale of 4,000 shares of ImClone stock just before the shares tanked.

*Sad News: Former president Ronald Reagan, 91, is steadily slipping in his terminal battle with Alzheimer's disease, according to close friends and former associates.

*At least one conservative economist doesn't think the weakened economy will hurt Republican prospects during the upcoming 2002 November election.

Articles and Commentary:

*Rep. Cantor Helps GOP Reach Out to Jews: With just a hint of a southern drawl in his voice, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) readily admits that few would expect a national spokesman for Jewish Republicans to hail from central Virginia.

*Clinton Reveals on Secret Audio: I Nixed Bin Laden Extradition Offer

Secret audiotape obtained exclusively by NewsMax.com shows former President Clinton admitting for the first time anywhere that he had the chance to take Osama bin Laden into custody, but he nixed the idea because he couldn't come up with a legal justification for the 9-11 mastermind's extradition.

The tape, recorded at a February business luncheon on New York's Long Island, proves that the claims of Pakistani-American businessman Mansour Ijaz, who says he brokered the deal for bin Laden's extradition, have been accurate all along - even as former Clinton officials trashed him as an exaggerator and even a liar.

Clinton's comments to the Long Island Association were so controversial that the group refused to release its own video recording to NBC News, after the network requested a copy on Friday based on NewsMax.com's report on the event.
