The minority vote, assuming it does get out to vote, could be a big factor in the Democratic primary. In the general election, however, either McBride or Reno can count on something like 90% of it. Unfortunately, Bush is busy buying into the liberal agenda in what, IMHO, is a foolish effort to reduce that 90% to 85%. Last Friday, for example, the papers in Florida reported that Bush will work to restore voting rights to former felons. If he succeeds, he'll have pushed through two of the liberals long sought dreams - a stronger Governor's office and voting rights for felons.

caltrop, Once McLawyer loses the primary, what do you think will happen to all the unions who backed him? Do you think they'll slither over to Reno? Because I doubt the teachers union will. What will they do? Sit it out?
