BEIRUT, Aug. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- A woman was killed and two people were wounded in explosions caused by three small bombs in a building in a village southeast of Beirut on Sunday morning, the official NNA news agency reported.
The attacks originally targeted the owner of the building, George Akouri, a sergeant in charge of a prison in the region of Roumieh, NNA quoted local security sources as saying.
The explosions occurred at the first floor of the building, which killed Akouri's mother-in-law and wounded one of his relatives. The identity of the other injured was not confirmed yet.
The sergeant and his family survived the attacks as they left the building 15 minutes before the bombs exploded.
Security sources said every bomb contains one kilogram dynamite and nails.
