NOT SKETCHY AT ALL!
Dred Scott case:
". It would give to persons of the negro race, who were recognised as citizens in any one State of the Union, the right to enter every other State whenever they pleased, singly or in companies, without pass or passport, and without obstruction, to sojourn there as long as they pleased, to go where they pleased at every hour of the day or night without molestation, unless they committed some violation of law for which a white man would be punished; and it would give them the full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might speak; to hold public meetings upon political affairs, and to keep and carry arms wherever they went."
We, of today, cannot keep and carry arms whereever we go." That makes us slaves to the State and Federal governments.
That is plain enough.

Here's what I see; You have failed in all administrative appeals to carry a weapon on a ship leased to the USMC that carries weapons and munitions required to fight the next war of this nation. That fact to me has bearing on your case. This is not a banana frieghter. Your letter to the USCG CPT was threatning in tone and therefore showed poor judgement. You may very well have the right under the 2d. Do you think that the CPT took into account your basic charcter traits of honesty, courtesy, tact, cooperation, integrety, dependability, etc. when he denied your request? Whos judgement are you willing to accept? Could you be perceived as a threat to the safety and security of a national defense asset? Good Luck.
Loose lips sink ships.- All your e-mails tell me way too much about the comings and goings of this vessel.
