There are two interesting problems for Granholm in Detroit: First, most of the activist groups hate her. Second, without a large Black voter turnout in Detroit and Grand Rapids, she cannot win.

When Engler first ran, Republicans had an interesting task: How to make Detroit voters stay home. :-)

We did and it worked. Never mind how, it was accomplished -- and was not very difficult.

Here's yet another little point the Detroit newspapers are not reporting: The primary vote from Detroit has not yet been counted! The "results" reported from Detroit are just supposed results. The true numbers are not in. And that was with a very small voter turnout.
