I'm sorry about the outcome. This doesn't help second amendment advocates, and it doesn't help their cause. This is not the way to fight a battle.

Well said. -- Hot pursuit of obviously deranged individuals is not a winning strategy for cops, imo.
- A year or so ago, another hiway cop was killed in texas by a tax protesting weirdo, that everyone in the county was aware of. We had quite a thread discussing that one.
- Upshot? -- The cops should have handled the situation differently, from day one.
- There are lots of crazies out there, [FR is proof of that], -- and confronting them on the hiways is not a wise move.
