Prayers for the officer and his family.

I just hate it when a policeman gets killed. There might be a couple of jerks out there, but most of the LEO's do their best to protect us. This policeman sure did his duty. May his rewards in Heaven be great, and may his family be comforted.

Okay, I've seen "Czech handgun" and "high-powered semi-automatic weapon." What's what?
Also, I wanna know what transpired at the original traffic stop. Is the operator of a vehicle only required to show an officer his license through the window? I believe that's the case in Maryland.
But it wouldn't be the first time that a citizen knew the law better than the average cop.

I don't know what the reason Mr Matthews did what he did, but because of his actions, two kids have no father anymore.
I have no sympathy for Don Matthews. There is a right way and wrong way to handle things. The cop wasn't trying to kill him. He was stopping him for speeding.
THE ONLY time shooting a cop is right is in self-defense. This was not self-defense. This was murder.

Very, very tragic. My heart goes out to both families.

What a terrible shame, and a tragic loss of a real Hero for us all. My prayers are with his family...who I hope know how grateful we are for his noble sacrifice.

a balding, white man
Why do they identify the man in this way and go into detail about the man's of lack of hair?
