I hope there will be an exhaustive investigation of these events, and that a truthful account will be fully, publicly disclosed.

Kinda like the way it should work when one gets pulled over for a traffic infraction, eh? Take the matter to court rather than create widows and orphans.

Too late for that, CJ.

There is no reason for having to guess at what's under a tarp.

That's not what is shown in the picture above captioned "body of the suspect."

It is plainly a man who looks to be bald and black. I've seen enough dead bodies of white folks to know that they appear more white rather than less after dying. However, he (the man in the above picture) doesn't appear to be 300 lbs as betty says her picture depicts Matthews. Could it be that the caption above is incorrect and that is the picture of Taylor's body on the ground?

Thanks! When I read the story this morning, I imagined that the shooter would be a much younger man. I am surprised.

Such as calling traffic stops a 'constitutional crisis.'

Ahh...this is the level of your honesty.

It doesn't say that they did ballistics tests it says the bullet "matched Matthew's imported gun..." Have they yet performed balistics tests on all of the officer's guns as well? We don't know.

Produce the evidence to the contrary or shut up, Demi

Give it up. The officer died at the hospital. Told you to read the article.

Good try. The article states that the officer was attended to by paramedics on the scene and then rushed to the hospital where he died. We see no paramedics attending to the apparently dead body next to the cruiser.

Of course, that does not mean that it wasn't the same as the caliber of the weapons used by the police in the incident...

In California, any speed limit under 55 is just "suggested." If you can prove the suggestion given the subject conditions was inapposite then you can beat the ticket.

Late last night, there was a report on TV that stated: a Massillon officer had been shot...and he was in critical condition.

Massillon is just a typical small town in Ohio...they love football, rock-n-roll, beer, classic cars, motorcycles, Jesus, and the U.S.A.

They were probably in such a state of SHOCK when this shooting happened...they had no time to come up with a conspiracy.

The whole theory behind ballistic tests is that the markings in each case are unique. Like fingerprints and DNA, a match is a match.

Demidog, in post 171 you said:

"In most states the power of police are predicated on a signed affidafit by another citizen before you can be arrested."

Just what do you think a traffic ticket is? It is a signed affidavit by the law enforcement officer that he witnessed the violation.

Then you said:

"There isn't enough information to draw a conclusion one way or the other yet I notice that you and others like you are quick to condemn the civilian even though it isn't even clear whether or not it was he who inflicted the fatal wounds."

Doesn’t matter, demidog. Even if the police officer was shot by one of his fellow officers the person who put him in that position is GUILTY, just as if he had pulled the trigger.

Finally, you said:

"The Supreme Court has ruled that your right of self-defense indeed extends to the killing of cops who are acting outside their authority. If you have a beef, perhaps it is with the Supreme Court and the constitution itself. That does seem to be a pattern with you."

Now who’s jumping to conclusions? Where do you believe the police officers were acting outside their authority in this case? The traffic stop?

Fair enough, CJ. But have you checked out your own ideology quotient recently?

I don't know what sort of a person you are. All I know is you find me grieving for a dead friend, and all you seem to want to do is provoke me. Why?

Give what up? I'm asking you to comment on the picture which you have eroneously claimed was of a man covered in a white sheet.
