What does any congressman do for their district? They all take a slice of the pie, including Jim, but few are worth it.

Gingrich 'nationalized' the congress to work for the good of the nation. Traficant is one of the few that did that over his party, espescially in the case of protection from the IRS.

Traficant never got my vote when he *was* my representative. The guy's a total joke who should have started doing time a long ago for his "one person sting operation" against the Mob.

If any city could use someone to go to bat for them it's Youngstown. Unfortunately, Traficant's always been too preoccupied making an ass out of himself to do anything for his constituents.
