On principle alone, I vote no. I don't think those in prison should have voting rights at all. Agreed - but those *outside* of prison can vote for him if they so desire - he just can't vote for himself.

Sorry...the seasonal visitors haven't arrived yet. You'd have better luck getting those extra votes if you get yourself over to Atlantic City, and watch for the busses packed with seniors. Scope out the folks sporting the best tans, as they are probably the ones sunning themselves year round.

IF we took all of Congress and the Senate and put them in jail, and repopulated the Government from prison inmates it would be a net gain all round...

He got a lot of other votes, a majority in fact. Think about it (famous phrase of Jim's)! He often received much more than a simple majority. The last year I lived in Youngstown, he received 91%.
It's not too hard in that district. Just be a Democrat and be 100% "America First" i.e. anti-NAFTA, etc. and pro-union. There's really no Republican Party in the area to speak of.
Jimbo has/had the extra-added bonus of feeding Youngstown's underdog mentatlity which he adopted as his own.
Unfortunately, he's also a crooked boob.

True. Scary part is, some of those in power thnk that their private lives and public lives are seperate entities....
However, snorting coke, chasing bimbos, and other mis-deeds have an effect on their public lives... so their "private" and "public" lives are one and the same.
Still wonder how Marion Berry manages to get away with it like that.. and Teddy Kennedy, and Daschle, and Bill&Hill, and...

Here are the latest stats. YES still in the majority. Remember, when I first went there yesterday morning the NO vote was ahead by about 2 to 1 before my cheerleading rallied the YES vote:
Yes 53.32 % (715)
No 46.68 % (626)
Total Votes: 1341
And if you voted yesterday, you can vote AGAIN today. I just did. Vote HERE.
