I certainly don't see this as an important Republican issue, but merely an interesting sideshow that may encourage disunity among the democrats. If McKinney loses her re-election campaign, she's likely to blame it on Jewish financial support for her challenger. The Black Congressional Caucus has already expressed concern that the party isn't doing enough to support an incumbant. Why not let the democrats fight among themselves? For one thing McKinney, IMO an anti-American legislator, is building seniority on some very important committees. And this is an opportunity to defeat her through crossover voting in the primary.

Personally, though I see it posted about all the time, I don’t really see much evidence of democrat infighting in this race, nor of much Jewish financial support, though it may develop. It’s a straw man.

You may be assuming this is the same as the Hilliand/Davis race. Davis outraised Hilliard by about $1.3 million to about $850m. If you look at his contributors. A quick look at Davis donors reveals lots of Jewish sounding names from outside of Alabama, especially NY.

Cynthia is outraising Majette by about $511m to $376m so far, and Majettes donor list is largely from her district. I’d like to see out of state donations going to her, but I haven’t yet.

The big risk to Cynthia are Republican primary votors crossing over, which appears to be happening. There are those (not you) who want to discourage that. I’d like to see it happen, Cynthia is a dangerous person to be advancing into positions of increased power.

Agree on that. Why some who claim to be in the GOP want to support this crazy dame is beyond me. Maybe it's that she is pro Arab and anti Israel?
