I say he should..
Bill 'O is making a fortune, Rush Limbaugh is making a fortune.. The Conservative ideal sells, it's worth something and when given a chance we dominate in every way, shape and form..
So, what's so different about FR? Why should FR be exempt from these rewards?
Your comments please.

What is this, a Socialist site?
Hell Yes, he should make money.
Most things worth doing are worth doing for a profit.

It would be fine with me if JR made $$$. He's definitely earned it. The old fashioned way. I'll continue to do what I can.

Would you oppose or favor Mr. Robinson making a profit from FR. I'm all for it. I'm no Commie.

I am sick of the whining about FR's financesReal conservatives would never whine about FR's fibances because they would realize its none of their business.
First and foremost, conservatives mind their own business.

Yes he should. It was a brilliant idea, wonderfully implemented. That deserves reward.

Why shouldn't he or anyone make a profit.
I work for a paycheck, don't expect anyone else not to.

The whiners need to shut the hell up! It's either quarterly donation drives so that we can voluntarily donate to keep the site running and keep Jim Robinson employed so that he can run the site. Or it is a paid subscription site. This is not a charity, despite the voluntary donations one can make. If you want FR to continue, either keep donating or keep whining so that Jim will have to go to a paid subscription model and watch FR disappear from the Internet.

So, what's so different about FR? Why should FR be exempt from these rewards? As long as he is honest and up front about it. I am more than a little troubled by these FR fundraisers that don't bother to mention that they are raising money for PAID EMPLOYEES, NOT VOLUNTEERS!!!
You don't want to become a fraud and a hypocrite like Bill Moyers, who has made tens [if not hundreds] of millions of dollars off the ostensibly "non-profit" Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Jim Robinson has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
I am always happy to respond to the call for donations.
My great-to-the-fifth grandfather was with the Continental Army at Ft. Pitt as early as 1774, and joined in telling King George III not to interfere.
And the hits just keep on coming. . . .

I think a better question would be how he can make a profit without compromising his goals.
Some helpful suggestions would be better than a brawl.

Personally, I'll be delighted if JimRob makes millions.
The rest of us should be delighted too. That would be the best proof of the success of this forum.

Would you oppose or favor Mr. Robinson making a profit from FR. If he wants to,
and if he can do so legally,
he should go for it.
It's really none of my business though. I just visit here and I appreciate the service provided here. It's up to him.
