"Bush is entitled to his month in Crawford.

I agree...especially since he'll travel the country during this time.

(It's the visit from Vincente Fox that concerns me.)"

I agree with this, too.

That's IT~! I've been ignoring the gas prices you people mention. But NOW I have to tell the sad truth. I paid $1.57 yesterday for the CHEAP stuff here in Western N.Y.

I can't believe we're lucky enough to have our own reporter down there in Texas. Keep the reports coming, huh?

I love it! Temps in the high 90's - - can't wait to see how the blow-dried press pantywaists do in the heat and humidity...

I can't help but feel that Bush will hid a little grin behind his cowboy hat when he sees them sweating rivers....

, badger those idiot reports about global warming. Remind them about how unusually cool its been down here(hehehe),

You make a good point. They are being welcomed with cooler than normal temperatures. Personally, I can't tell much difference between 98 and 108. Did some channel flipping a few minutes ago and James Rosen of Fox and Suzanne Malveaux of CNN looked cool as cucumbers in front of the hay bales. The idiots had on long sleeved jackets :::rolling my eyes::::

Sure thing Kitkat. Let's get our houseboat and dry dock it next to the press trailers. We can spend our days lounging with frozen margaritas while we hassle the press. And NO, they can't get on our boat!

Wow - I hadn't heard about the forum at Baylor. I'll be sure to take some pictures. I'm going to Crawford soon with some out of town visitors to take pictures, too.

This is the falls park in Crawford - moonrise a couple of weeks ago

Say nasty things to the press; and get some pictures. Did you take that one? It's fantastic.

"I don't think Helen goes to Crawford,"

Well, wait just a dog-gone second. If Helen doesn't go to Crawford......where does she go for the entire month of August? Don't tell me she takes a vacation? Does she have a beat we don't know about?

Whine about it somewhere else.

Wow, your pictures really ARE fabulous. How about putting some more up on this thread, complete with descriptions, so we can get a "feel" for the place.

I wish I could get a press pass. I think J Robinson should issue a press pass for Free Republic photographers and reporters. *L*
