Don't you think that maybe there are other countries with those capabilities? Maybe Saddam has some of that technology or at least the directions on how to process it in some other country somewhere as well. What proof do we have that he is planning to attack us with this stuff? None as far as we've been told. Perhaps if we attack Iraq, he WILL use those types of weapons on Americans because he'll figure he has 'nothing to lose'.

I think it all depends on whether you believe President Bush and Defense Secretary Rumsfield's statements that they have irrefutable proof of the Al Queda connection to Iraq.
I do.
As to whether other countries might not attack us: I believe in the power of 'deterrence' as a motivating factor.
