After mid Nov the only one I'll pay attention to is the final vote total. That's the one I'm talking about.
For those who say polls mean nothing, they're not being realistic. They're certainly not a guarantee, but they do affect public perception/voter enthusiasm and fundraising.
For me, polls mean nothing. They don't persuade or dissuade me at all. I'll continue to work for my candidate whether she/he is 20 points ahead or behind.

As you should. For those of us not familiar with races in certain areas, however, polls and fundraising are the only tangible measurements of those races. You may not like polls (I'm not fond of how, with the help of a liberal media, they affect voter perceptions), but they're not going away.
