This is a strange article about the wide open back door that the United States has, in the Caribbean, that's called Puerto Rico.

I don't know what to make of all of the charges of discrimination, bigotry, hatred and racism.

What a dilemma!

Whose side will the professional race-baiters take in this fight between the Puerto Ricans and the Dominicans?

What will Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do? ;^)

"There is a little bit of jealousy because Dominicans take jobs that Puerto Ricans don't want," said Iris Figuereo, a vice consul at the Dominican Consulate.

So the Dominicans are doing all the work in PR. LOL

"My mom was sick and I didn't have money for the operation; I did it for her," she said.

Operation? What operation? Was an "operation" mentioned earlier in this story?

The "operation" she refers to couldn't be an abortion, could it?

"People complain that Dominicans are taking over. Racism does exist here."

How can racism exist between 2 cultures who are both "Hispanic"? Or do Hispanics practice a Caste system? What is the definition of a Hispanic? Who gets to be designated Hispanic? Are rules such as those that once defined "Octaroons" officially sanctioned when determining who is a Hispanic?

Are Puerto Rican Hispanics of a higher caste than Hispanics from the Republica Dominicana? Are Cubans Hispanic?

Yeah, the Puerto Ricans are on our federal government programs and they're upset, because someone else has figured out a way to steal eggs from their 'Golden Goose'.

Maybe the Dominican Republic will let us have a Navy base there? Then we'll just take everything we give Puerto Rico and give it to them.

Then the Puerto Ricans will be crossing the Mona Passage. ;^)

In the last census, 80% of Puerto Rican respondents listed themselves as white.

There is friction between white (descended from pure-blooded Spaniards) Hispanics and non-white Hispanics. This is first I've heard of it being manifested this way in the 21st century and in Puerto Rico.

Sounds like Puerto Rico did what Mexico is in the process of doing.

Abortion?

This Paredes is one of 17 children and she's only 26 and has 3 of her own. They're baby factories.

Oh boy, what to do now? The Bureau of Multi-Cultural and Diversity Affairs is going to have to expand the number of categories to include "White Hispanics", "Black Hispanics", and "Hispanic Hispanics" at the very minimum.

But who makes the judgement if a white hispanics calls himself black in order to gain the extra benfits black hispanics get over just run-of-the-mill blacks and run-of-the-mill hispanics? What percentage black do you have to be to be considered a black hispanic?

This is getting complicated.

We need to put our most brilliant scholars of race-baiting to work on these questions. Can Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson make peace between the white Hispanics and dark-skinned Hispanics?

Somebody's missing an opportunity to capitalize on some victimization going on in Puerto Rico.

I guess those sharks don't have the scent of any money to be extorted from anyone over this, yet.

This has got to be the fault of the evil American Taxpayer's. I just know it.

I've got it!

How could the United States give so many billions to the white Hispanics in Puerto Rico, every year, and so little to the dark-skinned Hispanics in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean?

There are reparations to be paid!

English should be declared OFFICIAL and all U.S. possessions to be required that english is their first language. Spanish or any other language should be jettisoned for the sake of the cohesiveness of this nation.

I understand that the vast majority of the Dominican illegals in New York came through Puerto Rico. They manage to obtain fraudulent Puerto Rican documents which enable them to receive welfare upon their arrival. They also vote Democrat - somewhere around 85%.

"...Dominicans take jobs that Puerto Ricans don't want."

The translation seems to be the same there as it is here. The illegal immigrants will do anything for less than an American citizen. They steal jobs on price and depress wages around the whole island.

There's an easy solution for Puerto Rico. They just extort more money from our pandering, stateside politicians.

The question is where do we get the money to pay for it all? Who do we extort it from?

Oh, that's right, we just increase our National Debt. No problema.

How can Puerto Ricans even tell who the Dominicans even are? Their ethnic backgrounds are almost identical and they both speak Spanish. I don't understand this.

"English should be declared official..."

The last time we tried that in Puerto Rico, 17 FALN terrorists went into Congress and started shooting. Clinton just pardoned them on his way out.

We would't want to see that happen again, now would we?

Think that Bill letting them go had anything to do with the fact that he knew Hillary would be sitting there, if they tried that again?
