Thanks for pointing that out. My earlier post was just a sarcastic reponse to his lame point about democracy.

You're so right about everyone in India (or a large part of it, anyway) having a grievance with someone. But, there do see to be some more peaceful states like Kerala to the south.

I suspect the current nationalist Hindu BJP will have a hard time keeping that coalition? together. Where India goes from here will indeed be interesting.
