Groups participating in the 12th session of the Arab Nationalist Youth Camp in Sidon on Friday were named after Palestinian cities and camps that were violently assaulted by Israel.
The camps activities were inaugurated Friday at Sidon Vocational School in a ceremony held under the patronage of President Emile Lahoud, represented by Education Minister Abdel-Rahim Mrad.
Mrad called for creating an Arab resistance front to face Israel with Arab youth at its core.
The Palestinian cause prevails this session as an Arab cause of main concern to the youth.
Of the 12 Arab delegations participating in the camp, to be held between Aug. 1-15, groups from Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Yemen, Bahrain, Iraq and Lebanon have already arrived.
About 180 youths will participate in the camps activities.
